As a designer for Nike’s social content, I managed various duties to boost the brand’s online presence. I designed engaging content, focusing on integrating Nike’s dynamic style into digital platforms.
During my time at AKQA, I focused on leading the design and execution of social media content for Nike across German-speaking regions. My role involved a deep dive into various Nike initiatives, including gender-specific and mixed running clubs, as well as the Nike Training Club and Nike Football channels. A highlight was orchestrating the launch of the Nike+ FuelBand. I developed a unique landing page and specialized social media strategies to showcase its features, such as step counting and training monitoring, ensuring each campaign was captivating, relevant, and consistent with Nike’s global branding efforts.
Events & Store Openings
For Nike, I managed social media for high-profile events and store launches, including the “Nike Mitte” store at Hackescher Markt and the “Overkill” pop-up at Schlesisches Tor, Berlin Kreuzberg. I led the digital promotion for “City of Deception,” a major football event with stars like Ronaldo and Klose, and provided live updates for Nike’s women marathon in Berlin. These roles highlighted my expertise in enhancing event visibility and audience engagement through effective social media strategies.
